I am admittedly writing this review too late, i was not contributing to Yelp for a long time due to an expirience where a fake review mislead me in Portland, Oregon many years ago. This restauant was a very good local diner and shoulf not have closed. We took our family there last on new years to be with family. Shockingly they closed forever a few weeks ago. While disappointed, this family were caring, great business owners, i just wish we had more time with the eatery. It will be missed. When we moved here in 2020, it was our son's preferred eatery. I hope that maybe someday something adapted opens in the sunet.
We have walked by Sea Breeze many times but finally stopped for lunch today. Great outdoor dog-friendly patio, friendly staff, and amazing food. Side note: the apple juice was the best apple juice I have ever had! We will be back soon :)
What a wonderful breakfast place in the neighborhood. We went on a Sunday at 10am, and we were able to get seating inside. The lady at the door and gentleman was very friendly. We ordered the French toast, waffle and omelet with ham and vegetables. Everything was super delicious!! We couldn't finish because we over ordered, and had it for breakfast the next day. It was still delicious. The restaurant has a good vibe that's clean and homey. Will certainly be back!
What's the best way to end your day in Golden Gate Park?? Walk a few blocks to the Sea Breeze Cafe! Seven of us finished up our 9 mile cross town hike with happy hour margaritas and fish tacos. The food was great, the margaritas were so good we needed a second round, and the server was fun and friendly. He even brought us a special dessert of fried plantains, whipped cream, and berries because it was "probably someone's birthday"! Highly recommend!!
Great brunch, I had the sea breeze Benedict, it was delicious. Service was great and would love to come back to try other items on the menu.
Wife and I felt like we were in an entirely different world just a few blocks away from the great Pacific Ocean. We thought we were in Monterrey or Carmel with the casual sea theme and open air parklet in the front of the restaurant and modern Mexicano musk playing on the music system. Casual restaurant operated by a person in front and chef in back. No other help that day but they handled the crowd easily at this breakfast and lunch only place. I had the Fried Codfish Burger and the dog other had the Sea Breeze Eggs Benedict with a spicy Chipotle Sauce on the side. Also ordered a Mexican Hot Chocolate and a Caffe Late. The fish burger was gigantica and I had to squish it down to be bitable while the Eggs Benedict were simple with the Chipotle Sauce elevating the dish to a nice level of open your eyes spiciness. We were pleasantly surprised by this casual beach-like restaurant although the ocean was still miles away. Excellent service by the one person front end help. Definitely will be back....
This was the first place I've ever liked home fries. Game changer! The potatoes served on the side with breakfast/brunch are usually soggy, cold, and bland. They usually give way too much and it goes to waste. Sea Breeze somehow managed to break that mold. The potatoes were delicious but the chipotle sauce even more so. My Benedict was middle of the road. My friend loved his seared ahi tuna but it felt incomplete without rice on the side. Outdoor seating is especially beautiful when it's a clear day in the outer sunset and you can see the ocean
